We stumbled upon a small gallery space at the end of Haarlemmerstraat the other day, there was a guy and two girls sitting outside the space drinking wine and smoking spliffs in the sun ( yes…it was sunny in Amsterdam ) !!  ” The guy looked up and invited us in so white wine in one hand spliff in the other we wondered in to find a really great display of painted leather jackets by an artist called Kiki Weerts check out this video by Dutch girl band Vrouwen Zijn Ok where the Jackets were worn or Dutch Rock band Malle Pietje en de Bimbo’s ( or Malle Pete And The Bimbo’s in english )  The band Kiki formed with her best friend and fellow ‘mega babe’ Jane in 2004 now signed to internationally acclaimed record label PIAS She sings, plays bass and has really big cool curly blond hair which is a bonus for any band or artist !  Thanks to Job Reuten of Cirque Excentrique for inviting me in and of course for the wine and smoke!
